Wonderful woman contacted me for a custom order. She had looked at my blog and loved my gray lace slouchy beret. She was wondering if a brim could be added. Me being the accommodating artist that I am said sure. It is simple enough to add a brim to any hat. I have found a new love that is Paton's Classic Wool merino. It is luscious and luxurious. The feel is amazing and the colors are splendid....:) A knitters dream and reasonably priced. I am in love. Any way. This woman was going an an exciting trip to Alaska of all places (chilly) and she wanted a nice warm wool hat. Red Lace Sweetheart Sweater Cardigan 3T $30.00

I loved making this! Simple raglan arm cardigan for my daughter with a few feminine details. I added white ribbing around the edges and the best part is the lace. The lace is a line of connected hearts at the bottom and at the cuffs. I was a simple way to add some special touches. She looks lovely in it. Size is toddler 3.

Alpaca Wool Slouchy Hat w/ Diamonds $20.00

This was some of the most luxurious yarn I have ever felt. This is a super soft alpaca bulky wool. Very very warm. The design is a slouchy hat with traveling diagonal lines all over. The lines intersect over and under at alternating levels. At the back all of the lines come together forming a geometric flower like design. There is a two inch section of ribbing around the edge to keep ears warm. Attention to detail was number one on this hat. This wool is so soft and luxurious you have to feel it to believe it. Size fits most. Measures 20" around with room for stretch, 9" long from end to end. Enjoy!
