This is a present for my nephew. I wanted to make a warm set for him with the cold weather here already. I made a hat with light blue slip stitch ribbing and ear flaps. The hat also has a pompom and ties to make it very snug and secure. The hat is my original design. The gloves are a simple pattern I got form a website, and they are matching the hat with the same cord. I decided to accent with white and tan for visual interest and to avoid a one color item.
